Recently, protesters took to the streets near the Los Angeles International Airport, demanding that there be a ceasefire in Gaza.

The demonstration, which lasted about three hours, was peaceful but impactful. Protesters took to the streets near LAX, causing a traffic nightmare for travelers. However, they believe that the cause they are fighting for is more important than any inconvenience caused by the disruption. The demonstrators expressed their anger and outrage at the ongoing violence and the loss of innocent lives.

The LAPD ensured that the group stayed in one area and walked on the sidewalk, maintaining order and ensuring the safety of the demonstrators and the general public. This rally occurred two days after another protest shut down the 110 freeway during morning rush hour.

One protester highlighted the similarities between the struggles faced by the Irish people and the Palestinians, such as military occupation and cultural diaspora. The demonstration was not about taking sides but about coming together as humans, standing united against oppression, and voicing their support for the oppressed.

The group plans to hold weekly demonstrations until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza. They believe that by consistently raising awareness and demanding change, they can contribute to ending the violence and creating a safer, more peaceful environment in Gaza.
