Foxy Brown has held the record for the only female rapper to have two number-one albums on the Billboard 200 chart, until Nicki Minaj broke the record after dropping Pink Friday 2. This made Nicki's third number-one album, and led to her breaking Foxy's record for her two number-one albums- 1997’s The Firm: The Album, a collab with Nas, AZ, and Nature; and 1999’s Chyna Doll.

Foxy took to Instagram to congratulate Nicki, writing in her Stories, "Hella proud. 26 year record is brazy tho. Y’all mean to tell me no b**** broke that s*** in my absence! Took twin to set tha bar again!"

Nicki gave Foxy her flowers in 2012 while they shared the stage during Nicki's performance at the Roseland Ballroom. Nicki told Foxy, "I never really told Foxy how much she has influenced me and how much she changed my life, and you've gotta tell people that when they're alive to even be able to take the compliment, instead of paying tribute to them when they're no longer here.

"I never really knew how she felt about me -- in the industry, with women, you kinda just tread lightly -- and I'm glad I was able to finally come out and say: 'You were the most influential female rapper to me.'"
