Draymond Green was recently suspended indefinitely by the NBA after he smacked Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns during their game. Green said, “I’m not one to apologize for things I meant to do. But I do apologize to Jusuf. Even though I didn’t intend to hit him, I sell calls with my arms. I don’t fall to sell a call. I’m not a flopper. I was just selling the call because he was grabbing and pulling my hip. So, I spun away. And, unfortunately, I hit him.”

Since then, news related to the suspension of Draymond has surfaced, noting he will be away from gameplay for another three weeks. The delay comes after Green started counseling following a 2nd suspension this season.

Shams Charania of The Athletic noted Draymond’s time out will extend to early January 2024. Charania said Green “has been understanding and prepared to undergo the process required to return to the team in a full capacity.” News of this comes after Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said the suspension of Green “makes sense.”
