The ongoing debate about whether Stephen Curry should be considered the best player of all time has taken the basketball world by storm. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal addressed the issue on "NBA on TNT" with his co-host Kenny Smith.

O'Neal raised the question of whether it's time to start putting Curry in the conversation as the best player of all time, even putting Curry over himself. He expressed his admiration for Curry's skills, highlighting how he has consistently been the best shooter throughout his career and has championships to his name.

However, Kenny emphasized that what separates players like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and himself from Curry is the ability to affect the game in various areas. While Curry is undoubtedly one of the best at his position, Kenny argued that being the best shooter doesn't necessarily qualify him for the title of the best player ever.

The conversation shifted to the pool of players considered the best ever, with Kenny mentioning Jordan, James, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as his top choices. He stated that these players dominated in multiple areas, and their impact extended beyond shooting.

When Kenny stated that it was a "reach" to put any player over LeBron, Jordan, and Kareem for the "GOAT," Shaq asked Kenny about including Kobe. Kenny then clarified, "He's next, then we start reaching after that." You can listen in full above.
