Univ. of Alabama offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett was arrested on Wednesday (December 20) night after he was accused of knowingly spreading an STD.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed the news to TMZ Sports, telling them that Pritchett was hit with a misdemeanor charge and released on $500 bond. If convicted, Pritchett faces up to three months in jail or fines up to $500.
According to Sports Illustrated, the Tuscaloosa Municipal Court granted Pritchett youthful offender status on Thursday. This gives Pritchett the opportunity for a lighter sentence and also seals the criminal charge record from the public.
