Sammy "The Bull" Gravano revealed an incident where John Gotti was beaten by a black inmate due to Gotti's racist comments during a prison gambling game. Following the fight, Gotti allegedly resorted to paying the Aryan Brotherhood for protection and even attempted to contract a hit on the black inmate who had beaten him. Gravano said Gotti offered to pay the gang $25,000 to carry out the killing and manipulated the use of the money from inside the prison. He also mentioned that if Gotti had failed to pay, the gang would likely have severely beaten him.
