Waka Flocka recently spoke about his career and the beginning stages of becoming a rapper. Flocka noted that he wasn’t the best at what he did initially, but his ear for beats pushed him further than he could imagine.

While speaking to HipHopDX at the One Music Fest, Flocka talked candidly about his skills. “I told people, I can’t rap, I’m a f***** up rapper.” He continued, “But I said, guess what? When it comes to feeling, I’m gonna crush y’all. Because I know the feeling.”

From there, Waka then spoke about his impact on fans, mainly through his live show. “I probably did over 3,000 shows in my career. There was never a Waka show that people seen that wasn’t the same as the last time, energy-wise,” said the rapper.

Previously, Waka was candid about the current music scene, as he called Doja Cat the “Madonna of this era.”
