Foolio recently sat down with Adam22 for an interview on No Jumper, where he opened up about being shot in the foot earlier this year.

When asked about his decision to move out of Jacksonville, Foolio admits that he doesn't stay there but visits occasionally. He acknowledges the danger in his city and the constant issues with the police, but he feels comfortable being around his brothers and the familiar streets. When Adam compares Foolio to other Drill rappers who can't seem to leave their home states, Foolio expresses his desire to be there for his people, not just to prove something to his enemies.

The discussion turns to the high crime rate in Jacksonville, with Foolio confirming that it is indeed as bad as people say it is. He shares a personal experience where the police tried to give him five years for a minor incident when they pulled him over. He feels that they are out to get him. Although Foolio knows it's risky, he admits he doesn't have a clear answer as to why he keeps going back.

The conversation takes a more intense turn as Foolio explains the events that led to him getting shot. It seems like an ambush outside his house, early in the morning. He was hit in the foot and managed to drive himself to the hospital. The incident raised concerns about his safety and the people around him.

In another song, Foolio mentions his cousin dropping the ball on him, which he hints was intentional. He mentions that trust is hard to come by in Jacksonville, and there is a constant competition among people to be the slimiest. Adam questions why someone would trust a known backstabber, but Foolio dismisses it, stating that some people don't care about money and are focused on carrying out their agendas.
