Dwight Howard has faced many issues in the last few months, as the storied basketball player was accused of sexual assault in a viral story that has sparked much discussion. However, it appears his basketball career is still moving along.
Previously, Howard was linked to a basketball team in Taiwan, and now it appears he is going back overseas to play for another team.
Shams Charania of The Athletic spoke about Howard’s endeavor, noting he is going to play for a club called the Strong Group. The team is from the Phillipines and they will be playing in the International Basketball Championship. The tournament will last for two weeks.
Howard has been looking to get back into the NBA for some time, with the player previously meeting with the Golden State Warriors.
