Trontavious Stephens, one of the co-founders of YSL, who is also known as "Tick" and "Slug," took the stand in the YSL RICO case on Wednesday (January 3).

Stephens accepted a plea deal in December 2022,  which resulted in a 10-year sentence with two years and time served. The rest will be served on probation. As part of his plea, Stephens was required to take the stand in the YSL RICO case, where he would testify truthfully. He also cannot invoke his Fifth Amendment right on the stand.

While on the stand, Fulton County prosecutor Adriane Love asked Stephens about his involvement in gangs, including ROC (Raised on Cleveland) Crew. There were reports of Love getting frustrated with Stephens for his roundabout answers when she questioned him about specifics in the gang, including members.

Adriane Love then asked Stephens to demonstrate gang hand signs used by members of Sex Money Murder, which he showed to the courtroom. When Love asked Stephens, "Have you ever falsely claimed ‘Sex Money Murder'," he admitted that he was never jumped in and falsely claimed the set. You can check out part of his testimony above.
