Bun B recently sat down with Math Hoffa and spoke about various topics, including his latest album ‘TrillStatik 3’ with Statik Selektah. During the conversation, Pimp C and UGK came up and found Bun B revealing rare information about ‘Big Pimpin.’

The song UGK did with Jay-Z has been a storied one, as Bun B previously noted Pimp C’s thoughts on their collaborator. Bun spoke on the possibility of “Big Pimpin’ 2,” which never came about.

“UGK was Pimp’s baby and he would put his heart and soul into it. And he didn’t wanna do all of that to get to this point and do one song with somebody and have his legacy perverted. That was the way he looked at it,” said the rapper. Bun then noted he and Pimp C were approached by their label—Jive Records, for another collaboration with Jay-Z.

“When we were getting ready to do the next album, the label, Jive, was like, ‘Let’s do a ‘Big Pimpin’ 2.’ Let’s buy a JAY-Z verse, let’s buy a beat from Timbaland, let’s get a video from Hype and let’s do it again, boys!” Bun said “I was like, ‘If I don’t do a song with JAY-Z and Timbaland, do I still get a Hype Williams video?' It was never, ‘No.’ They were like, ‘Why wouldn’t you want that?’ What? Besides being $2.5 million in the hole from the first song we recorded?” Watch above.
