On the heels of Blueface and NLE Choppa agreeing to settle their differences in the boxing ring, Blueface took to social media where he claimed NLE Choppa is backing out of the match. According to Blueface, NLE Choppa is attempting to evade the ring by emphasizing "negotiations" to essentially price himself out of the match. Blueface added that he'd respect NLE Choppa more if he would just come out and say he doesn't want to fight.

Blueface and NLE Choppa's beef was reignited after Blueface got at NLE Choppa on Jaidyn Alexis's "Barbie" remix, as he rehashed claims that he got NLE Choppa's baby mama's number on a night out.
Blueface rapped on the track, "NLE baby mama wanna hit/Why you lying ’bout the number, b***h, you know I got the digits."
NLE Choppa responded, challenging Blueface to a boxing match, writing on X, "I hit you personally to stop speaking on me. I thought s*** was understood. Bet that." He added, "Let’s box @bluefacebleedem who can set up celebrity boxing match in Vegas me and him hit me ASAP. He undefeated vs women ion respect a nigga that put his hands on em anyway !"
Blueface responded, writing, "N****s rap about my wesydes all year long and mad when I rap about his...She decided to indulge in the circus on her own free recognizance she entered the chat nobody safe 🎪😈 I’m not worried about a Muslim vegan cryp on sY bet that small fry 🤝 squabble up or shut up."
Blueface then added, "I KNO NLE baby momma wanna hit. I put lil bro on anyway."
