While speaking about the song, Minaj said, “I don’t perform that song no more, y’all. I don’t like it. What y’all want me to do? It’s a stupid song.”

Now, one of the producers of the song—RedOne has spoken out about Minaj’s snub of the track. While speaking to TMZ, RedOne said, “I have the utmost respect for Nicki Minaj and I love her work very much. I will always respect an artist's wishes... I feel very proud to have made that record with her along with the global success it made.” The producer is also responsible for tracks like Usher’s “More” and Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance.”
