Late last year, singer Ari Lennox went viral after a fan threw a water bottle at the artist during her performance at a Rod Wave concert. Lennox was opening for Rod Wave on his ‘Nostalgia’ tour, and she took to social media to speak candidly about her time on tour.
Lennox held no punches about her experience on the tour, saying, “I can’t deal with s*** like that” while talking about being heckled. She continued, “It’s one thing to hate me, that’s fine. But it’s another thing to be like, ‘Get this b**** off stage,’ or like have your little signs or like assault me. What is this aggression? Like you’re that p****?”
Lennox gave thanks for being able to pay off a bunch of bills due to the tour. However, the “disrespect” from the concertgoers during the Rod Wave tour made the two-plus months she experienced “lonely” and “very hard.” Watch above.
