In an interview with The Breakfast Club, rapper Benny the Butcher addressed the topic of his relationship with fellow rapper Freddie Gibbs. The two had an altercation in the past, but a recent picture of him hugging Gibbs' baby mama caused confusion among fans.

Benny explained that the picture was innocent and that he gave Gibbs' ex-girlfriend her chain back because she wanted it. He clarified that he had no personal issues with Gibbs and that the altercation they had in the past was unrelated to her. Benny described himself as a nice guy who doesn't hold grudges.

Regarding a song that Gibbs' ex-girlfriend had released, Benny insisted that he had no involvement in it and didn't even listen to it. He emphasized that just because she had issues with Gibbs didn't mean they were best friends now. Their interaction was merely a result of returning her chain, and they had hung out a few times since then.

When asked if he and Gibbs could ever reconcile, Benny firmly stated, "No, hell no." Although they had collaborated on a song previously, Benny explained that he wouldn't stand next to Gibbs because it could harm his image. He didn't have any personal problems with him, but it was all about maintaining his credibility in the rap game.

Benny expressed his frustration with continuously discussing this topic and dismissed any past issues. He believed that people were pitting them against each other for entertainment purposes, but he wanted fans to know that there was no animosity between them.

In Benny's eyes, their past was in the past, and he didn't want to entertain any negativity. He urged fans to stop fueling the feud and clarified that he had no problems with Gibbs. Benny emphasized that the fans weren't there during the incidents that occurred, and therefore, their opinions were irrelevant. You can hear more starting at the 30:43 mark above.
