A YouTube prankster named YaNike, identified as Y.D., was arrested in Belgium for dumping buckets filled with dog feces and various substances on unsuspecting metro passengers as part of his pranks. The arrest, made on January 3, led to charges of assault and battery, property damage using violence, and general property damage. Authorities reported that the prankster confessed to the incidents in Brussels. The acts involved a mixture of substances such as excrement, oil, beer, water, fallen leaves, and paint.
YaNike's YouTube channel only has around 480 subscribers and had seven incidents out of 16 videos traced back to the pranks. One particularly offensive video titled "Suprise du chef (6)" captured him dumping fecal matter onto a train passenger. Complaints were filed by the victims and the local transportation operator, STIB. The prankster's quest for viral fame resulted in legal consequences and public condemnation.
