Fat Joe previously spoke on former Roc-A-Fella Records mogul Damon Dash, calling him “delusional” before telling him to “make another” Jay-Z. Now, Dash has reacted to Joe on his ‘America Nu Network’ podcast while speaking about why he didn’t try to recreate another superstar.

“Number one. Make another HOV? Why the f*** would I make another HOV? He was double dipping,” said Dash. He continued, “We were paying him highly as an artist and he was double dipping from the company and it didn’t make me a lot of money. He did not generate $100 million a year for me — I don’t want to make another HOV.”

From there, Dash noted he had a hand in helping to push the careers of Kanye West and Cam’Ron, along with Rachel Roy. “I started another company called Rachel Roy and it generated over $100 million a year. So, I didn’t make another HOV, I made another $100 million company,” he continued, reaching into his bag for receipts.”

Dash then got at Joe, saying: “But, because you don’t speak that language — most people don’t — and a lot of what you know is music, if I’m doing something in another language you don’t understand, it doesn’t resonate with you.”
