Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair discussed his relationship with Smush Parker and some of his experiences with the late Kobe Bryant. Telfair shared his disappointment in his fellow New York City basketball player's treatment by the Lakers and specifically with Bryant, who had famously called Parker his worst teammate ever. Telfair then recounted a story of Bryant's competitiveness and confidence, wherein Bryant noted he arrived at games by helicopter while others used a bus, indicating an obvious difference in status. Another professional player, Joe Smith, further emphasized Bryant's unparalleled hunger and will to win. However, Telfair also acknowledged that Bryant was not universally liked, referring to NBA player Stephon Marbury’s comment after Bryant’s death that not many players actually liked Kobe.
