News broke about Yo Gotti's brother, Anthony "Big Jook" Mims, being fatally shot outside of a restaurant on Saturday (January 13) afternoon.
Sources revealed that both Yo Gotti and Big Jook Mims attended a funeral service in the area earlier on Saturday. Around 4:15 that afternoon, the shooting occurred outside of Perignons Restaurant and Event Center in Memphis, fatally wounding Big Jook.
Surveillance footage is being reviewed by police, however, they have yet to identify a suspect, according to WNET. They have released images of a vehicle, but so far, no arrests have been made.

According to reports, Yo Gotti’s brother Anthony “Big Jook” Mims was killed in a shooting that took place outside of Perignons Restaurant in Memphis on Saturday (January 13).
The shooting reportedly happened after Big Jook attended a funeral for a friend he previously posted about while in mourning. Memphis police say they responded to gunfire outside of the restaurant around 4:15 PM, where two men were shot.
Big Jook was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The second person who was shot was taken to Regional One Health and is reportedly in critical condition. As of now, Yo Gotti has not addressed the tragic incident.
