Previously, Diddy was involved in a massive lawsuit that found the hip-hop producer and mogul suing alcohol company Diageo, accusing them of racism for discriminating against his tequila brand. Since then, Diageo fired back, accusing Diddy of working against other Black-owned businesses. Now, both parties have reportedly settled their issues. 

According to TMZ, both parties settled the suit, with both parties telling the outlet: “Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice.”

Both parties continued, “Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.” Previously, Diddy was seeking billions in damages against the brand.

Diddy has been wrapped up in a lawsuit with liquor company Diageo. Previously, Diddy created Ciroc vodka and DeLeon tequila. 

The lawsuit finds Diddy alleging that Diageo promoted Ciroc and DeLeon to “urban markets” while brands backed by white people like Casamigos were given a higher favor. However, Diageo has fired back at the claims from Diddy in the lawsuit. 

Diageo claims that Diddy and his company Combs Wine and Spirits conducted forms of racial discrimination despite him publicly being in support of Black people. Diageo alleges Diddy “discouraged Diageo from working with other Black business people and influencers. Combs demanded that Diageo redirect millions of dollars earmarked to support such causes to him personally.” The company also said Diddy went off when Diageo directed $100 million towards hospital workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

From there, Diageo said, “[Diddy] threatened then to ‘reach out to every news outlet’ to ‘burn the house down’ and cause maximum damage to Diageo and the DeLeón brand by making public accusations of racism if Diageo refused to write the check.” Stay tuned for more updates.
