Lil Yachty Divides Social Media After Sampling Beanie Sigel's Classic "Feel It In the Air"

On Wednesday (January 17) Lil Yachty teased the video for his new single, "Sydney," which samples Beanie Sigel's "Feel It In the Air." 

Yachty, who appears on the song with Brooklyn rapper DontKallMeLuxxy, divided social media after sampling Beanie Sigel's classic song. Some people felt that Beanie's instrumentals should be off limit for younger rappers, with one social media user stating that Yachty "ruined" the beat.

Another person stated, "And what angers me is I know my 20 year old cousin would say that Yachty shit hittin, but if I play Beanie’s version, he’ll sit there and look stupid like it aint hot." You can listen in full above.
