Cam’Ron recently spoke on his 2007 ’60 Minutes’ that ultimately went viral after he spoke about the topic of snitching while speaking to Anderson Cooper. Cam told Cooper he would ultimately move if he knew a serial killer lived next to him, and wouldn’t tell police.
While on ‘It Is What It Is,’ Cam’Ron spoke about the past interview, revealing that the interview was chopped to pieces and that the context of his original quote wasn’t fully expressed. Cam said 60 Minutes “chopped that s*** up so bad” and gave some added context behind his quote for the interview.
Cam’Ron noted that a part of his answer was left out where he noted that just because you cooperate with police doesn’t mean that will lead to a conviction. “Now, the people you told on, you have to go face them every day. There’s consequences,” explained the sports show host. Watch above.
