In this clip, Boosie discussed his music, prison experience, and a notable meeting with Suge Knight. Asked about a particular line in his song that mentions "sugar" (a nod to Suge Knight), Boosie said it dates back to a 2008 incident when Knight paid him a visit. He recounted meeting Knight, who was brandishing a cigar, with no apprehension despite the infamous stories about him. During their meeting, Knight hinted at Boosie signing with Death Row Records. However, Boosie declined the offer to focus on his own label, asserting his desire to be his own boss. He felt joining Death Row, which was lacking successful artists and essentially blackballed at the time, would have likely caused more harm than good for his career.
