50 Cent has voiced his discontentment regarding the recent disregard of 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan' at the NAACP Image Awards. The outspoken artist utilized social media to express his views on what he perceives as a failure to acknowledge the series.

The 'Raising Kanan' showrunner raised doubts about the decision, underscoring the undeniable impact of the show on African American and Latino audiences while calling out STARZ in the process. He emphasized, “Like, at this point, you should know that this is the place that you would have to have—how long has Power been the No. 1 show in African American and Latino homes?”

The ongoing issues that 50 Cent has described experiencing as a result of STARZ have been something the artist has pointed out over the years. Previously, 50 revealed that a Snoop Dogg-inspired show was supposed to be made at the network, only to note later that the series was “no longer in production.” Along with that, the artist and showrunner openly celebrated his deal being finished with the company, saying, “They suck, my deal is up.”
