Earthquake was a guest on The Breakfast Club on Friday (January 26), and as soon as he sat down, Charlamagne asked Earthquake about Katt Willaims' explosive "Club Shay Shay" interview.
During the sit-down, Katt named Earthquake, stating that the legendary comedian wasn't in movies "because he can't read," adding "he's illiterate."
Earthquake told The Breakfast Club that he doesn't think Katt's interview benefited the Black comedy world. He also questioned why Katt didn't call the people he had an issue with, as Earthquake stated that comedians aren't rappers and they don't have beef.
When Charlamagne stated that Katt's interview put a spotlight on comedians who aren't always brought up in mainstream media, Earthquake countered that "it didn't move the needle to help us progress as Black comedians." Earthquake went on to speak about Katt having immense talent, which you can hear more about above.
