Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry was recently asked about not being listed as a Western Conference starter for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Curry noted he was happy for two stars named ahead of him to start—calling out Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
“I mean, you got two guys that are playing amazing this year, Luka [Doncic] and Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander]. Been around doing this for a very long time, and the fact that it's a talking point, I'm not after nine healthy years… those two guys are playing amazing; they deserve it,” said Curry.
Despite not being on the starting line-up, Curry said, “Hopefully, I'm there in Indiana in whatever capacity. But to still be doing it at this stage, it's always a challenge, you don't ever take for granted how hard it is to be recognized in that way every year.” Watch above.
