Kevin Bludso from Bludso's BBQ shared some of his unique grilling techniques and flavors. He enjoys using a brown sugar rub along with some branded elements sprinkled on the ribs. Despite every rib's unique characteristics and flavors, the key is not to allow them to get too sweet. The same attention to flavor balance is paid to beef briskets. They are also seasoned with a simple yet effective mix of garlic, salt, and pepper. While cooking, the meat is treated with apple juice to enhance the sweetness of the pork. However, for perfection, the timing of the juice application is crucial. Bludso also highlighted the ideal texture of ribs for consumption, adding that if a rib cannot be cut whole, it’s overcooked, therefore compromising its flavor.
