Birdman recently spoke about Rich Gang and why he brought Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan into the fold.

While speaking to Jalen Rose, Birdman addressed Rose, insinuating that Rich Gang was formed so the Cash Money mogul could reinvent his career. Birdman said, “I never felt that I had to reinvent. I felt that when I went and did the Rich Gang, I watched Wayne work so, so hard and I saw some talent and I was like, ‘I found something, Mulah. I found something where you can kick your feet up.’”

Birdman continued, “Because all he ever wanted to do was make sure I kick my feet up. All he ever wanted to do.” Birdman then noted that when he met Young Thug, Wayne still wanted to continue rapping, saying Weezy was “on a full-blown mission.”  Take a look above.
