Trey Songz recently had a sexual assault lawsuit against him dismissed, relieving him of the potential $10 million liability.
The dismissal came about because the alleged victim referred to as "Jane Doe" in the legal documents, failed to respond to Trey Songz's motion to dismiss in a timely manner. It remains uncertain whether the alleged victim will have the opportunity to refile the lawsuit or if it has been permanently dismissed.
The lawsuit was initially filed in June of last year, with Jane Doe accusing Trey Songz of exposing her breasts at a pool party in a Connecticut casino back in 2013. The lawsuit sought $10 million in damages for sexual battery and assault, claiming that Trey Songz forcefully grabbed and exposed her breast when she simply wanted to take a picture with him.
