Christian Wood of the Los Angeles Lakers expressed his displeasure after being left out of the starting lineup for a game against the Atlanta Hawks. Despite Lakers superstar Anthony Davis being ruled out, head coach Darvin Ham chose Jaxon Hayes over Wood as the replacement starter. Wood took to Twitter with a simple "lol" post, indicating his frustration. Despite not starting, Wood had a strong performance off the bench, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds in 22 minutes. The Lakers ultimately lost the game 122-138, adding to their challenges as they currently hold the 9th position in the Western Conference with a 24-25 record.
