Jeff Teague recently recounted an incident on the Club 520 Podcast where he, along with John Lucas III and Jerryd Bayless, had a close call with a group of Somalis in Minnesota.

In the podcast episode, Teague shared how they went to a club after a game, and the group of Somalis approached them, attempting to greet Lucas, who they thought resembled them. When Lucas didn't respond, the situation escalated quickly, with the Somalis interpreting it as disrespect.

"They were on our tail. They were 60 deep," Teague revealed. "J Luke looked like one of them... They said 'What's up' to him, and he didn't say 'What's up' back, and they were looking at him like, 'What the heck?'"

Teague continued, "J Luke grabbed a Hennessy bottle, man. I'm like, 'What are you doing?' Swear to God, Jerryd Bayless was gone. I'm looking around like, 'Where's Jerryd at? Somebody got Jerryd.' So, me and J Luke ran out of the club. Man, Jerryd was all the way down the street. You see that guy in his Stacy Adams clicking."

Teague's storytelling on the podcast adds another amusing anecdote to his collection. In response to doubts about the authenticity of his stories, Teague asserted in a previous Complex interview that he has "no reason to lie."
