The discussion was sparked off by Shawn Prez mentioning how rapper Blueface seemed to be enjoying his jail time. Yung Joc contended that this stems from a culture that glorifies certain anti-establishment and illegal acts. According to Yung Joc, this culture pressures people to commit such acts to be accepted and respected within their communities. He further criticizes people who find value in their identity as criminals. The rapper expressed that having a criminal record does not make one a better person and urged for a change in the narrative. Conclusively, he commended those who had the wisdom to avoid legal troubles and asked for stories of perseverance rather than criminal acts to be honored.
