According to reports, a man was seen entering the SoFi Stadium lake by security officials around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, as reported by the Inglewood Police Department. According to authorities, despite swimming deeper into the water, the man did not resurface. In fact, it has been reported that several drownings have occurred in this lake over the years, raising concerns about the safety measures in place.
The lake, known to be up to 20 feet deep in some areas, posed a challenge for firefighters and lifeguards who were called to search for the man. After a thorough search, his body was discovered around 11:00 PM. As of now, his identity has not been released.
