American actor and martial artist Michael Jai White admitted he was "wrong as hell" for his past prediction that Francis Ngannou was going to lose to Tyson Fury in a fight. White applauded Ngannou for his smarts and talent and expressed confidence in Ngannou’s team. He would love to see a rematch between Ngannou and Fury, believing it would be a big draw due to the politics of boxing. Regarding Gervonta Davis' conversion to Islam and name change to Abdul Wahid, reminiscent of Muhammad Ali’s conversion and change of name from Cassius Clay, White expressed support for anyone pursuing their religion and changing their name. He also mused about Conor McGregor’s anticipated return to UFC, opining that Michael Chandler only needs to be wary of McGregor’s left hand to have a fair shot at winning the upcoming bout.
