NBA YoungBoy turned heads after posting a photo of Yaya Mayweather, his ex-girlfriend and mother of his three-year-old son, Kentrell Deshawn Gaulden Jr.
The post sparked confusion among YoungBoy's fans, as the Los Angeles Times reported that the Louisiana rapper is currently married to Jazlyn Mychelle, with whom he shares two children. Neither Yaya or NBA YoungBoy's wife have reacted to the rapper's post.
This comes after resurfaced bodycam footage of Yaya's 2020 arrest went viral earlier this week. The footage showed the aftermath of Yaya stabbing Lapattra Jacobs, another woman who has a child with NBA YoungBoy, including the rapper speaking to police. The video also showed Yaya breaking down in tears after police told her that Jacobs was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
In 2022, Yaya pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and she was sentenced six years deferred adjunction. She was also given 40 hours of community service.
