Robert Ladd shared insights into the triple homicide incident that killed Orlando Anderson in 1998. Ladd disclosed that Anderson was at Mom's Burgers, across from Compton High School, when he spotted some men from the Corner Pocket Crip gang who owed him drug money. Anderson and another man, Michael Dorrough, confronted them, which resulted in a shootout and Anderson's death. Dorrough survived but was convicted of the triple murder, a verdict which greatly angered him as he was charged with his close friend's death. Officers who came to the crime scene tried to extract a death confession from Anderson, which he refused vehemently. Interestingly, Ladd compared this incident to Tupac Shakur's dying moment, stating that both men shared the same distrusting attitude towards law enforcement.
