Birdman Reacts to Mayor of New Orleans Gifting Him and Slim with Keys to the City

Birdman and his brother, Slim, were gifted with keys to their hometown of New Orleans on Tuesday (February 6), which Mayor LaToya Cantrell showcased on X.

Mayor Cantrell wrote, "Congratulations to Birdman & Slim! Yesterday I presented Keys to the City of New Orleans to Bryan 'Birdman' Williams & Ronald 'Slim' Williams. Thanks for your contributions to music & commitment to the community. Johnny and Gladys Williams would be PROUD." 

During his acceptance speech, Birdman stated, "Nothing never came easy for us coming from Uptown and I’m a continue, I ain’t done with it." You can hear more above.
