The interview lasted almost three hours and covered various topics, but two particular incidents involving The Breakfast Club and DL Hughley have caught the attention of the online community.
During the interview, Mo'Nique called out The Breakfast Club for their handling of her situation with Netflix. She claimed that The Breakfast Club initially criticized her for speaking out against the streaming giant but failed to acknowledge when she settled the matter amicably.
Both Charlamagne and DJ Envy defended their stance, stating that they did give Mo'Nique support during her dispute with Netflix. However, Charlamagne couldn't help but find humor in the situation, leading to him busting out into fits of laughter.
Another bone of contention arose when Mo'Nique discussed a game called "Would You Rather" played on DL Hughley's radio show. Mo'Nique expressed her displeasure at being asked an inappropriate question about her husband, Lee Daniels, and Karrine Steffans. The comedian, visibly upset, called Hughley and voiced her concerns. Sharpe chimed in, calling it a distasteful question, but also acknowledged that Mo'Nique's reaction might have been stronger due to previous tensions between her and Hughley.
