He stated that Cannon's remarks about Nip's death made him "worse than Keefe D." Boskoe was perturbed by Cannon's claim that he could have potentially saved Nipsey's life, accusing him of recklessly using the media for personal gain. Boskoe admonished Cannon for needlessly creating controversy while suggesting that such behavior was becoming a major problem within the entertainment industry.
