Trick Daddy opened up about his upbringing in a large, complex family. His mother had 11 children by ten different men, while his father also had 12 children. The total number of siblings and half-siblings he grew up with amounts to more than 20, and he stated that he knows and recognizes all of them. However, he shares that the family isn't as close-knit as it was in the early eighties and nineties due to scattered holiday celebrations. Despite having attended 15 public schools due to frequent relocations, Trick Daddy owes his social adaptability to these experiences. He also expressed his belief that this large and diverse family environment shaped him as an individual and influenced his approach to the music industry.
