Latto recently released a single, “Sunday Service,” with bars many perceived to be aimed at Ice Spice. Latto’s bars come after Ice Spice called a preview of a song from Latto “weak.” Ahead of the release of “Sunday Service,” a Heavy Hitters DJ and RCA Records representative named Kevin Valentini reached out to Funk Flex, asking the Hot 97 DJ to throw on Latto’s song when it drops.
However, Flex took to Instagram to post a screenshot of his exchange with Valentini. “Latto firing back.. ‘Sunday Service’ drops Friday… You’ll have it when I get it,” said the RCA rep.
Flex said, “I don’t know if I can play that my brother! I’m from the Bronx!” Flex also added a caption: “HAD TO LET @INCA_NY/@RCARECORDS KNOW THAT I AM THE PRESIDENT OF THE ICE SPICE FAN CLUB!" he wrote. "PLUS I’M FROM THE BRONX! 😂.” Take a look above.
