Last night, a shocking incident involving a Waymo self-driving vehicle occurred in San Francisco. The vehicle, parked on Jackson Street near Grant, was targeted by a group of more than a dozen people who vandalized and ultimately set it on fire.
According to fire officials, the assailants surrounded the empty vehicle and began their destructive act by spraying graffiti all over it. The vehicle's windows were then smashed, allowing the attackers to ignite a firework, which they then placed inside the car. The firework caused a sudden blaze that engulfed the entire vehicle, destroying it.
