Former NFL superstar Michael Vick opened up about his fall from grace, arrest, prison term, and subsequent financial woes. He acknowledged that his house in Virginia, where he housed his friends, became the target of law enforcement due to illegal activities such as dog fighting. Dismissal of initial warnings from his wife, friends, and law enforcement officers led to the arrest of his cousin, revealing the whole dog-fighting operation. Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison after three of his friends testified against him. Upon release, he found himself dropped by the Falcons and facing lawsuits from multiple banks, leading to bankruptcy after previously earning over $100 million. Vick confessed to feeling betrayed, claiming he was taken advantage of during his incarceration. Despite these hardships, he remained resilient, saying, "We all try to become better people from that situation. That's all."
