Mo'Nique's oldest son, Shalon, made headlines after he posted a video to TikTok in response to his mother's viral "Club Shay Shay" interview.
During the sit-down, Mo'Nique stated that she wanted to "Let time do that healing" when it comes to Shalon. She added, "It may heal it in time and it may not. And that’s something that we as parents have to say, ‘Listen, I’ve done what I can do. I’ve taken accountability for it. Now, it’s up to you."
Shalon went on to respond, stating, "Neither one of us has had the desire to reach out to the other in a very long time and I don’t think either of us anticipates that feeling returning. I’m tired of hearing my mother’s truths news flash…standing in your truth doesn’t make you noble."
Mo'Nique and her husband took to Instagram to respond to Shalon, and now Mo'Nique has gone further by sharing texts between her and Shalon to the public. You can read them in full above.
