--------

Former NFL player Antonio Brown recently opened up about his difficult upbringing in Miami's Liberty City. He shared how he was exposed to gun violence at an early age and remembers seeing 20 guns on a pool table in his home when he was 7. Brown's uncle, a significant influence in his life who introduced him to football, was later shot, ending up in a wheelchair. Speaking of his own experience with gun violence, Brown recollected being grazed by a bullet on his ear during a shootout at a party when he was a teen. This incident, he revealed, helped him mature as a person and realize that he needed to avoid risky environments. As a young man who had just been accepted into college to play football, he knew that he needed to remain on the right track.
