FN Lucci's lawyer, Drew Findling, discussed his client's ongoing RICO case. Initially, the case was related to a shooting incident, which later expanded to a RICO accusation, implying that the rapper YFN Lucci was part of a criminal organization. Findling pointed out that the connection between the rapper and the blood gang allegation stemmed from the music he produced and his wearing of red clothing. Lucci, who was arrested and released on bond in February 2021, was sent back to jail on April 13th after allegedly violating his bond conditions, including failing a drug test. Findling criticized the validity of the rapid field tests used, performed by an untrained officer, which has led to wrongful imprisonments, according to studies.
