Antonio Brown discusses his journey from Central Michigan University to his professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown was selected as the Steelers' sixth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and accepted a three-year, $1.3 million deal that included a $73k signing bonus. Despite what was considered a low salary compared to other NFL players and the doubt of being chosen in the sixth round, Brown felt it was a blessing and a chance to prove his talent. The number 84 on his jersey signifies the 32 teams that passed up on him multiple times in the draft. In his rookie year, he had 16 receptions and covered 167 yards in 10 games. Brown called his journey one filled with having to constantly prove his worth, an ongoing journey; he never failed to keep his focus, working towards self-improvement and exceeding expectations.
