Crunchy Black has spoken on the significant impacts made by his peer Killer Mike in the rap community. Mike, who recently earned three Grammys, was highlighted by Crunchy Black for his philanthropy and well-spoken manner. Killer Mike’s public arrest, however, was seen as shadowing his achievements. Crunchy Black believes this increased Mike’s recognition, which could in turn lead more people to his message. He pointed out that Mike never gave up despite adversity, a lesson he hopes others took to heart. The conversation also touched on recent disputes involving Kodak Black and Boosie. Black shared that he has learned to no longer comment on such issues, but added that he is a fan of Kodak Black’s work. He encouraged the younger rapper to surround himself with trustworthy people instead of yes-men to prevent potential negative impacts on his career.
