Reports surfaced noting City of Industry, known for its industrial businesses and commercial areas, was the site of a dangerous and illegal event over the weekend. Law enforcement officials were called to break up a "side show" event that took place late into the night.
The event, which started around 11 o'clock at a parking lot on Crossroads Parkway near the 60 Freeway, involved over 100 vehicles and a large crowd of spectators. The "side show," a term used to describe an illegal gathering of vehicles performing dangerous stunts and blocking traffic, posed a serious threat to public safety.
Law enforcement officials from the City of Industry were quick to respond to the incident and worked to disperse the large crowds and put an end to the dangerous activities. No serious injuries were reported during the event.
