Jhene Aiko recently ran into some issues over an incident that went down in 2022.
Aiko was sued by a woman named Genelle Ligot for a car accident that found the victim allegedly suffering injuries. The singer was accused of rear-ending a vehicle at a stop light in July 2022, resulting in injuries for Ligot. Court documents say the woman “was injured in health, strength, and activity.”
Because of the accident in Encino, California, Ligot claims she suffered “wage loss, loss of use of property, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, property damage and loss of earning capacity.”
The lawsuit from Ligot is asking for damages along with a jury trial, alleging that the singer acted negligently, which caused her to get injured.
